| SketchUp 7 is now available, and we're excited about it! There are some new ruby features available, and we will be working to update some of the older plugins to leverage the new speed enhancements, and write new plugins to take advantage of newer capabilities.
We've also been getting a lot of questions about whether the existing plugins will work in SketchUp 7. The general answer is that everything is forwards-compatible. That is, if it worked in 4, 5, or 6, it should work just fine (or even better) in 7. If, by some slim chance, you do find something not working in SketchUp 7 that did work in a previous version, please let us know, and we will track down the problem. |
